With 20 years of experience in commercial and transactional matters, Robert’s practice is focused on assisting clients with a broad range of corporate activities, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate structuring and governance and commercial transactions. Robert has gained this expertise working with clients from all key sectors of the northern Alberta economy, including the energy, power, forestry, transportation, agricultural and financial sectors.

Planning, structuring and implementing transactions, drafting complex commercial agreements and advising Boards on matters of governance and policy have become particular areas of focus within Robert’s practice. Robert’s role within the firm has also developed to include client management responsibilities for a number of the firm’s key clients, including CN, EPCOR and TerraVest Income Fund.

Robert was also a past managing partner of FMC’s Edmonton office and a past member of the firm’s National Partnership Board.
