Although email, online meetings, "virtual" closings and audio and video conference calls have reduced the need for  in-person meetings, business travel remains a way of life for many. While business travellers understand that they will be subject to a certain level of monitoring and searching for safety and security reasons, many travelers, and their employers, are unaware that the electronic devices they carry may also be subject to search and/or seizure.
