The Federal Accountability Act (FAA) and Action Plan were introduced by the Government of Canada on April 11, 2006. The FAA received Royal Assent on December 12, 2006. The FAA contains a number of important amendments to the current Lobbyists Registration Act (LRA) and existing filing requirements for lobbyists, corporations and organizations.
