Honda v. Keays

Today, the Supreme Court of Canada released its long awaited decision in Honda v. Keays and the news is good for employers.
In a 7:2 split, the Supreme Court of Canada overturned the Ontario Court of Appeal Decision. The Court used the decision as an "opportunity to clarify and redefine some aspects of the law of damages in the context of employment." The findings of the Court are precedent setting and applicable to all employers across Canada.
