The Canadian Securities Administrators (the “CSA”) have adopted a new insider reporting regime set out in National Instrument 55-104 - Insider Reporting Requirements and Exemptions (“NI 55-104”). Provided that all necessary ministerial approvals are obtained (and, in Ontario, certain amendments to the Ontario Securities Act are proclaimed into force), NI 55-104 will come into force on April 30, 2010.
