Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Act

On June 13, 2002, the National Assembly of Québec adopted the Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Act (the "Act") and it came fully into force on November 28, 2002. This Act, the purpose of which is to foster transparency in the lobbying of public office holders and to ensure that lobbying activities are properly conducted, has a wide scope and affects many different sectors of activity.
