The Plaintiffs, four members of the McLeod Lake Indian Band (“MLIB”), sought a declaration that the lands they selected in severalty pursuant to Treaty No. 8 are “Lands reserved for Indians” and not provincial lands in fee simple. The Court granted the declaration.
