Statutory Considerations When Dealing with Agricultural Insolvencies

Although most Canadian insolvency practitioners have been exposed to a variety of different industries over the course of their careers, there are a few who can truly be expected to be familiar with the unique issues involving agricultural insolvencies. Notwithstanding that agriculture may be a significant part of Canada’s economy, the number of agricultural insolvencies is quite small. This paper addresses the statutory considerations which must be borne in mind when dealing with agricultural insolvencies.
