One of the duties of directors is to meetings of the shareholders of the corporation. Usually, these meetings are called and held without incident. However, in certain circumstances, directors may be under some pressure to call a meeting by a particular date, or may be of the view that it is necessary to adjourn or postpone an already called shareholder meeting.
