Priscilla Chong LL.B., B.Ed., B.A. , Associate

Priscilla is an associate in FMC’s Corporate Commercial and Securities Group. She has experience assisting senior counsel and clients with a variety of transactions in connection with mergers and acquisitions and public and private offerings. Such experience include share and asset acquisitions, reorganizations, mergers, joint ventures, option agreements, and various corporate procedural matters.

Priscilla’s securities related experience include assisting senior counsel and clients with private placements, going-private transactions, CPCs, arrangements, rights offerings, initial and secondary public offerings and assisting public issuers with regulatory compliance.

She particularly enjoys drafting and, as such, has assisted senior counsel and clients with drafting, among other things, share and asset purchase agreements, information circulars, shareholders’ agreements, and prospectuses.

Prior to joining FMC, Priscilla commenced her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia on a science scholarship. She earned her Bachelor of Arts (English Literature, first class standing) and subsequently completed her Bachelor of Education (Elementary). 

During law school, Priscilla worked as a research assistant for one of her professors, focusing on corporate governance. She was also a summer research student at the British Columbia Law Institute/Canadian Centre for Elder Law Studies.
