John is an associate with FMC’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. His practice focuses on assisting clients with general commercial and civil litigation matters.

John is also a member of the Public Policy Group. John’s extensive background in government and politics helps him to provide valuable insight to clients. From 2001 to 2007, John held various positions with federal and provincial governments. Among them, John served as Senior Advisor and Director of Operations to the current Premier of Ontario, as a policy advisor to the Federal Minister of Natural Resources, as an aid to the Prime Minister, and as Director of Strategic Policy and Research for the Ontario Liberal Caucus. Most recently, John acted as Director of Tour for Premier McGuinty in the 2011 Ontario Provincial election.

John remains active in politics at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.
