Meghan is the Director of Professional Development for the Toronto office and a member of the firm’s Research Group. She is responsible for co-ordinating internal and external educational and professional development activities for lawyers and students in this office. She frequently assists in preparing and/or delivering papers and seminars for internal and external purposes on a wide variety of subject areas.
Meghan’s research practice consists of providing analysis and practical advice to the firm’s clients, while working with other practice groups within the firm. Meghan not only writes legal memoranda, but provides updates on legislation and regulations, assists with legal opinions, and provides pro-active advice on contractual and transactional matters. She has assisted on significant transactions and also on matters before all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.
