Janet is an Associate in our Calgary office. She assists the Employment, Labour and Immigration Law group’s clients with all sides of employment and labour law including employment litigation, labour relations, employment standards disputes, workers’ compensation issues, and human rights complaints. Janet routinely advises clients on matters relating to structuring the workforce, including hiring of employees and related obligations, developing appropriate workplace contracts, policies and compensation packages, and providing assistance with employee discipline and termination. Janet has also assisted clients with labour relations issues including preparation for collective bargaining, along with grievance and arbitration proceedings.
