Bob is the chair of the Steering Committee for the National Real Estate Group at Fraser Milner Casgrain. His practice focuses on commercial industrial and residential real estate acquisition, land use, development, financing and restructuring. He has provided advice to government and private proponents on public-private partnership matters particularly relating to infrastructure and transportation projects.

Bob advises on all manner of real property development in the context of industrial, residential, commercial and mixed-use projects. His clients include pension funds, property managers as well as large and small property developers. Bob’s real property development experience encompasses resort development, timeshare and fractional ownership projects. Bob also provides strategic advice to developers, partners and potential joint venturers in the context of financially distressed real estate developments. In addition, Bob carries on a general commercial practice advising on general business matters including banking, financial services law and, in particular, commercial leasing where he acts for both landlords and tenants. Bob also provides advice on construction law issues including builders’ liens, and construction disputes generally.

As part of FMC’s P3 Team, Bob acted for the Province of British Columbia on the Sea to Sky Highway Project and the Kicking Horse Canyon Highway Project.
