Matthew is a tax associate in the firm’s Toronto office, where he advises on tax issues associated with international tax planning, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate finance, and various other tax matters. Matthew has recent experience representing clients in various industries including manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, natural resources and technology. He also represents taxpayers in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincial tax authorities.
Before joining the firm, Matthew was a tax associate at another leading Toronto law firm and also served as in-house counsel at one of Canada’s most recognizable brands.
