Stephen Lloyd has been head of the Commercial Department in Montreal since 2004. He has developed sound expertise in private company mergers and acquisitions, acting regularly for a collection of public companies, family owned businesses and real estate trusts in various complex transactions.
Mr. Lloyd is also head of Montreal’s Business Strategies Group and has extensive experience in negotiating commercial arrangements for clients in various industries, notably the forest products industry. He is head of FMC’s National Forest Product Industry Practice Group and is knowledgeable in the ongoing business operations of various Canadian forest products companies.
Mr. Lloyd has also worked throughout his career in assisting in the establishment of sustainable relations between First Nations communities, natural resource companies and the financial sector. He is also actively involved in an advisory capacity with many charitable and community organizations. Mr. Lloyd joined Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in 1994 and became a partner in 2002.
