Sven Hombach is an associate in the Toronto office and practises in the areas of commercial litigation and regulatory environmental/energy law. He holds a masters degree in environmental engineering and combines his technical and legal backgrounds to deliver effective results to clients engaged in electricity generation, manufacturing, transportation and construction.
As part of his litigation practice, he represents small and large companies in commercial, construction-related and environmental disputes.
As part of his regulatory practice, he provides legal opinions on environmental issues, defends environmental prosecutions, provides transactional due diligence and negotiates regulatory approvals. Sven has also assisted wind farm developers in Ontario with respect to leave to construct and generator licence applications before the Ontario Energy Board.
