Matthew practises in the area of corporate and commercial law with a particular emphasis on company acquisitions and dispositions, company reorganizations, management buy-outs and joint venture arrangements. In addition, Matthew provides commercial advice on distributor channel and supply arrangements. Matthew is currently the Co-Department Manager of the FMC business law department.

Counsel to Armtec Infrastructure Income Fund (now Armtec Infrastructure Inc.) in connection with the issue and sale of 40,000 convertible unsecured subordinated debentures of the Fund to a syndicate of underwriters and with the offering of $150 million aggregate principal amount of 8.875% senior unsecured notes due 2017. The Notes were offered by a syndicate of underwriters by way of a private placement under applicable securities laws in all provinces of Canada.
