Reena is an associate with Fraser Milner Casgrain’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.
Reena’s practice includes a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters involving breach of contract, commercial tort, professional negligence, securities fraud, conflicts of interest, product liability, shareholder disputes, executive employment law with an added emphasis on pensions litigation, estates litigation and IT software development disputes.
She has appeared on numerous occasions before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as in other dispute resolution forums such as arbitrations and mediations.
Prior to joining Fraser Milner Casgrain, Reena worked as a Litigation IT Consultant with Commonwealth Legal Inc., where she helped to develop Ontario’s first full-scale civil electronic appeal brief for a case heard by the Ontario Court of Appeal in 2002. She was seconded to the Dispute Resolution Office at the Ministry of the Attorney General in the summer of 2003.
While obtaining her J.D. from the University of Toronto, Reena acted as the Chief Justice for the Student Moot Program. She was a Senior Editor for the Journal of Law and Equality, and a Group Leader with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law Minority Student Outreach Program.
