As a partner of Fraser Milner Casgrain’s National Employment and Labour Group, Lisa represents and advises employers in a wide range of employment and labour relations matters, including corporate mergers and acquisitions, wrongful dismissal actions, human rights, employment standards, certification applications, collective bargaining, unfair labour practice complaints, grievance arbitrations, and protection of proprietary information.
She is experienced in advising both provincially and federally regulated employers in the public and private sectors. She prides herself in giving practical, pro-active advice on a responsive and timely basis.
Lisa has practised exclusively in employment and labour law since her call to the Ontario Bar in 1993, and even before that, when she articled at a leading management-side labour law boutique. Lisa helps clients through complex and ever changing labour and employment laws to find practical business solutions that work for them.
Lisa is recognized as having a BV rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings, in recognition of her very highly regarded legal skills and professional ethics.
She is also a frequent writer and lecturer on employment and labour topics and is Co-Author of the LexisNexis Butterworths Employment Litigation Manual, now in its second edition.
