Navigating the legal landscape is pivotal to venture capital (VC) and technology companies’ success. Among others, the team has assisted in completing a US$54 million financing of Meriton Networks Inc. by a syndicate of investors led by VantagePoint Venture Partners and Nomura International; acted in the US$35.7 million financing of Variation Biotechnologies Inc. led by Clarus Ventures; and acted as Canadian counsel for two satellite operators that raised approximately Cdn.$1 billion in total private financing.
