International Tax Review award honours major achievements in tax litigation
Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) is honoured to announce that it has received the Canada Tax Litigation Firm of the Year award at the International Tax Review Americas Tax Awards 2009. These prestigious awards represent the opinions of the ITR on the leading tax advisers in the Americas based on their work in the past 12 months. This honour follows FMC’s win last year as Tax Court of Canada Firm of the Year.
The awards ceremony was held at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City on Wednesday September 30, where Carman McNary, Chair of FMC’s National Tax Group, accepted the award on behalf of FMC along with Donald Bowman, David Spiro, and Jehad Haymour, all members of the National Tax Litigation Group.
“Fraser Milner Casgrain is honoured to be recognized by one of the world’s most respected organizations in tax law and litigation as Canada Tax Litigation Firm of the Year,” says Michel Brunet, FMC’s Chair and CEO. “This remarkable achievement represents the industry leading expertise of our tax group, as well as the group’s unwavering commitment and dedication to its clients. We look forward to building on this success in the years ahead.”
