Standing On Guard For Harry Potter

Barbara Grossman and her national team from FMC’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group are breathing a sigh of relief now that the final Harry Potter book has been released. As legal counsel for Raincoast Books, Canadian publisher of the Hogwarts saga beloved by millions around the world, the team has been on "spoiler alert" around the clock during the run-up to the launch of the final book in the series. "It was touch and go for a while," notes Barbara, "but we didn’t need to get an injunction for this book as we did for the last one." However, policing the internet was a major challenge this time around.
With the launch safely over, Barbara is now undertaking her final task--couriering a copy to her daughter at summer camp.
