Quincy Smith presented Distinguished Service Award by CBA and Law Society of Alberta

On Friday, March 14, 2008, the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association presented
B. A. R. (Quincy) Smith, Counsel at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC), with the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding service to the community.
Throughout his career, Quincy has dedicated considerable time, effort and skills to numerous volunteer initiatives, including his work with the Board of Directors of the United Way of Calgary. His many years of participation and outspoken leadership make Quincy a well-deserving recipient of this prestigious award.
Every year at their midwinter meeting, the CBA of Alberta recognizes four lawyers in the province who have displayed exceptional dedication, creativity, initiative, achievement and contribution in one of the following categories: service to the community, service to the profession, legal scholarship and pro bono legal service. The awards are presented during the annual Alberta Law Conference.
