Ken Nielsen, Q.C. of FMC's Litigation Group appointed Judge, Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta

The Honourable Rob Nicholson, Minister of Justice announced on Friday, April 27 that Ken Nielsen, Q.C. was appointed to the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta.
Ken articled with Milner & Steer in 1977, became a partner in 1983, served as a managing partner and, at the time of his appointment to the bench, was Presiding Member of the National Partnership Board. Ken practised in the litigation area and is recognized as one of the best lawyers in Canada.
Ken was President of the Law Society of Alberta 2002-2003 and has served as president of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
