Jean Groleau appointed Chairman of Board of Directors of the Association de planification fiscale et financiere (APFF)

Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean Groleau as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).

Jean Groleau has been practising tax law for over 15 years and has developed expertise in the field of tax litigation, both from an administrative and judicial point of view. Admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1989, he served as Québec Crown Counsel from 1989 to 1997. During this period, he represented the Minister of Revenue in court cases relating to sales and income taxes, penal and criminal charges with respect to tax offences and collection of taxes, and in numerous matters relating to administrative and constitutional law. Mr. Groleau joined FMC in 1997 and became a partner in 2000.

Mr. Groleau is often invited as a lecturer on behalf of both the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF). His philanthropic activities include his membership on the Board of Directors of the Fondation de l’Hôpital Sainte-Justine. He is also Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of Administration of the Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay Foundation.
