Aviation expert Robert Donald joins FMC as Counsel

Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC), one of Canada’s leading business and litigation law firms, announced today that Robert Donald has joined the Firm as Counsel. Mr. Donald, who served as General Counsel of the International Air Transport Association, will advise Fraser Milner Casgrain’s diverse client base on federal and Québec legal matters related to international aviation, national and international commercial transactions, and litigation management. He will be based in FMC’s Calgary office.

Mr. Donald spent 10 years at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), working in both Geneva and Montréal. Prior to joining IATA, he was a partner in a Montréal law firm. He is a member of the Québec Bar and a frequent speaker on international aviation.

Mr. Donald holds a Bachelor of Arts from Concordia University in Montréal, a Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University in Montréal, and a Post Graduate Diploma in European Union Competition Law from King’s College in London, England.
