FMC Sponsors Top Ranked Canadian Team in International Negotiation Competition

FMC is pleased to announce the final results for the American Bar Association (ABA) Negotiation Regional Competition. Congratulations to the FMC sponsored University of Ottawa team comprised of James Wishart and Marion Van de Wetering, who finished as the top-ranked Canadian negotiation team.
Marion and James have therefore been invited to compete in the International Negotiation Competition to be held in July 2008, the location of which is still to be determined. At this competition, they will compete against the top-ranked negotiation teams from the United States, England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and South Korea.
Prior to the regional competition, FMC held its Annual Negotiation Competition which, in teams of two, students from across Canada competed with the focus of obtaining the best possible result for their clients through whatever means available. The winning teams were sponsored by FMC in the regional competition.
