FMC’s Michael D. Schafler and Norman J. Emblem speak at the ADRIC 2011 Conference

Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) is a proud supporter of the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC) Annual National Conference. This year’s conference took place in Vancouver with the theme Break-through Strategies, Critical Insights for Achieving: PEAK PERFORMANCE in ADR.

On October 28, 2011, Michael D. Schafler, Partner, participated as a speaker for the Estate Mediation and the Family Business workshop, addressing how educators, mediators and financial experts can proactively address the hardest to handle concerns involving the family business.

Norman J. Emblem, Partner, participated in the Is ADR Bad for Consumers? panel, covering ADR in the context of class actions and the recent Seidel v. TELUS Communications Inc. case.

ADRIC is a national non-profit organization that provides national leadership in the development and promotion of dispute resolution services in Canada and internationally. FMC has long been at the forefront of ADR development and is a recognized leader in the promotion and delivery of ADR.
