We are proud to congratulate The Honourable Judge John T. Henderson, former senior partner of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP (FMC) in Edmonton, who was recently honoured with a Pro Bono Distinguished Service Award at the 2010 Canadian Pro Bono Awards.
For nearly a decade during his time at FMC, John dedicated a significant portion of his practice to pro bono work, where he was instrumental at every stage of establishing, building and operating the Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC). His unwavering dedication ensured the success of the centre and helped those who required legal assistance, while he continued to sustain a successful civil litigation practice at FMC.
Now a judge for the Provincial Court of Alberta, his passion for helping others continues to serve as an example of the impact that pro bono work has on our communities.
