Michael acts as counsel and is a member of the firm’s National Employment and Labour Group. He provides strategic labour and employment advice to both private and public sector employers. He also appears in the Courts and before all labour relations and administrative tribunals on a full range of employment issues. He has been recognized in the Canadian Legal LEXPERT Directory and in the latest edition of Best Lawyers in Canada in the areas of both Labour Relations and Employment Law.

Michael’s broad employment practice regularly includes acting as counsel and advising with respect to dismissal matters and human rights complaints. His labour practice includes collective bargaining, grievance arbitration and representation of employers on certification and related matters at the Labour Relations Board. He has particular expertise and interest in the real estate, construction and forest industries.
