Anne Calverley Q.C., LL.B., B.A., Partner
Anne Calverley, Q.C. has practised law exclusively in the area of taxation for more than 30 years. Anne is the co-author of Canadian Resource Taxation which is the definitive publication on resource taxation in Canada. In 2011 Anne developed course materials for a new course in Oil and Gas and Mining Taxation which Anne now teaches at the University of Calgary Law School.

Anne’s experience includes not only private practice as a partner in the national law firm environment but also managing tax planning for both domestic and international resource based corporations. Anne specializes in matters affecting the energy industry. Her practice includes tax effective reorganizations, tax planning for acquisitions and dispositions, Canadian inbound investment and offshore investment by Canadians, international tax planning, and both domestic and foreign issuer representative.
