Mark is a tax lawyer within the Corporate Commercial Practice Group. Mark has extensive experience in providing income tax advice to corporations and their shareholders gathered over his 25 years practice as an accountant and tax lawyer.
Mark works primarily as an advisor to lawyers and accountants whose clients are seeking tax-effective ideas to reorganize their corporate holdings, purchase or sell a business or implement a business succession plan. He is a "hands-on" practitioner that prefers to get to know the client well before implementing strategies.
Mark is currently serving as the Chair of the CBA Taxation North section, a group of tax lawyers that meet monthly to discuss current legislation, case law and planning ideas of significance.
