Emma Williamson J.D., B.A. (Hons.), Associate

Emma’s practice focuses on corporate/commercial law, with an emphasis on private and public mergers and acquisitions and drafting commercial agreements. Emma has experience drafting and negotiating shareholder, share and asset purchase and partnership agreements and various publishing, licensing and arts-related contracts. Emma is involved in the incorporation and organization of companies and provides advice to clients in relation to day-to-day corporate/commercial law matters. Emma also advises regarding copyright, contract and licensing issues to visual artists and arts organizations, museums and galleries, music and book publishers, authors and agents and theatrical and dance companies. Emma has experience drafting and negotiating software licensing, technology and e-commerce agreements, including privacy and social media policies and technology development and services agreements.

In November 2009, Emma volunteered her vacation time to go to Maun, Botswana, to provide legal assistance to The Women Against Rape Trust.
