Philip restricts his practice to the field of civil litigation. He heads up the Edmonton Class Actions Group and is also a member of the Ontario bar. He is a trusted advisor to clients who seek his assistance in resolving a broad range of disputes, including class actions and commercial litigation. His practice focuses on professional liability, personal injury and catastrophic loss cases, and products liability claims.
Philip has appeared at all levels of court in Alberta and Ontario, in the trial and appeal divisions of the Federal Court of Canada, and in the Supreme Court of Canada. He has also acted as counsel in numerous arbitrations and mediations and other forms of ADR.
