Chris practices with the firm’s Insolvency Group in Vancouver and acts for insolvent companies, trustees, receivers, financial institutions, creditors and other stakeholders. He has experience with commercial restructurings under both the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. He is also knowledgeable in cross-border United States insolvency matters.
Chris has specific expertise in the context of multi-jurisdictional fraud matters that involve insolvency proceedings, and regularly acts for financial institutions in the tracing, recovery of assets and review of fraudulent transactions both in Canada and in other jurisdictions.
