Guy Lavoie has acquired solid know-how in labour and employment law, as well as workers’ compensation issues. Before studying law, Guy Lavoie was a journalist. He also took part in the creation of a company dedicated to the transportation of people with restricted mobility and a rehabilitation centre for physically and mentally challenged adults.
Several groups and companies have invited him to lecture on subjects such as employment law, workers’ compensation, electronic workplace issues, privacy and human rights. Mr. Lavoie joined the Employment and Labour Group at Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in 1986 and became a partner in 1994.
