Ward practices in the area of Commercial Litigation, with particular emphasis on insurance matters. His insurance-related experience includes motor vehicle claims, subrogation recovery, occupiers’ liability claims and commercial host claims. His commercial litigation experience includes agricultural product liability and contractual disputes.
Ward was a psychiatric social worker at Alberta Hospital Edmonton for three years, where he worked with mentally challenged patients and their families. In Lloydminster, Alberta, he developed a program aimed at helping high-risk students complete their high school education. He also served as a Social Work Consultant for the Edmonton School Board prior to entering law school in 1994.
