Sander practises in corporate and securities matters. His transaction experience includes public offerings, private placements and acquisition retainers. In the securities field, he has acted on behalf of issuers, underwriters and agents with respect to domestic and international securities issues. In the M&A field he has acted for a variety of vendors and purchasers. Sander’s corporate retainers include ongoing advice to public and private corporations in a wide variety of industries. Sander has acted for clients in many sectors, including in mining and precious minerals, heavy machinery, consumer packaging, pharmaceutical, hospitality, financial services, food services, high technology and transportation. Sander is an active contributor in national, provincial and local politics, providing policy and communications advice to Conservative candidates. He employs this knowledge in advising clients in relation to their interface with matters of public policy and government entities.
