Christian J. Brossard has 19 years of experience in commercial litigation and, over the last 17 years, has developed in-depth expertise in construction law.
He assists the firm’s clients with the drafting and negotiation of their construction and purchasing contracts and other legal documents. He advices them on risk management and on the prevention and resolution of disputes. He works in conjonction with clients and consultants on the preparation of their claims or the analysis of those filed against them. He acts for them in negotiations, mediation and other dispute resolution mechanisms, arbitration and before the civil Courts. Over the years, he has handled a number of complex litigation matters and has represented clients in several lengthy court cases and arbitration.
Mr. Brossard joined Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP in 1987 and became a partner in 1995. He is a member of both the Litigation and the Appropriate Dispute Resolution practice groups and is the head of the Construction & Infrastructures practice group and of the Montreal practice group providing services to municipalities.
