Bill Gilliland Rides for Cancer in Support of CANcervive
October 15 2010
Bill Gilliland, partner in our Calgary office, and his wife embarked on an annual nine-day bike excursion from Calgary to Austin, Texas, a fundraising event organized by the CANcervive Foundation of Alberta (CANcervive), a non-profit organization established to raise awareness and support for Canadian Cancer Survivors and their families.

“CANcervive impresses us by its emphasis on the positive – survival,” said Bill. “The whole organization exudes enthusiasm and encouragement. The training, time and teamwork needed to be a part of The Peloton Project to Austin makes for an exciting and challenging journey.”

The annual nine-day bike excursion that starts in Calgary features a group of 30 riders in pelotons of six, cycling relay-style for 24 hours each of the nine days.
