FMC Partner Carman Overholt will be presenting on "Protecting your Stuff: Intellectual Property for the HR Practitioner" at BCHRMA's Developing Your Employment Law Knowledge event. This session will cover the legal issues that arise in building intellectual property, concerns an employer may have, into the employment relationship. Specifically, issues of confidentiality, ownership of intellectual property, competition and solicitation clauses and how to enforce them. Practical tips to enhance the enforceability of contractual terms will be canvassed.
