SUMMERING WITH US

Our summer program starts around May 20th.

Your first day in the office will begin with a breakfast to welcome you and introduce you to the members of our team.

A week-long intensive training program serves to familiarize you with the office computer systems and the research tools available in the library. As well, two lawyers from our litigation section will take you to the Montréal Court House and the beautiful Court of Appeal building for a guided tour. To round out your initial week, and facilitate your integration into the firm, you will also be invited to attend a variety of social events.

Over the summer, you will also be invited to attend numerous weekly seminars, which focus on new themes every year.

In addition to receiving informal evaluations directly from the lawyers with whom you work on a daily basis, you will be formally evaluated on all of your assignments. After being completed either verbally or in writing, each assignment will be accompanied by an evaluation sheet that will be sent to our Manager of Professional Development. As part of our commitment to continually improving our program and the student summer experience, you will be called to an individual interview before returning to school so that we can give you our feedback and hear your comments and suggestions.
