A GREAT CAREER STARTS WITH TANGIBLE REWARDS
We believe that balancing your personal and professional life is important. We make a special effort to provide all of our lawyers and students with opportunities to get to know each other in both social and professional contexts. For that reason, we hold a number of formal and informal athletic and social activities throughout the year.
Depending on your interests, you will have the opportunity to participate in the lawyers’ hockey league, skiing, volleyball and soccer, running events, hiking, golfing and more. There is also an annual national associates retreat that brings together FMC lawyers from offices throughout Canada.
Friday afternoon get-togethers for lawyers and students, barbecues, seasonal events (including children’s parties), a students’ Skit Night and charity fundraisers are also regular features in our office. Needless to say, one of the most important and exciting entries on our social calendar is reserved for the weeklong celebration heralding the arrival of the renowned Calgary Stampede.
