Aviation
In a complex and multifaceted industry like aviation, special legal expertise is needed. An aviation client might require advice on asset-based financing, purchasing and leasing of aviation-related equipment, insolvency matters, regulatory issues and aviation claims. Only a rare law firm can cover all of this ground.

Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP is that rare law firm. We have unrivalled expertise in aviation law and legal matters related to the aviation and travel industry.

Our clients include domestic and foreign airlines, banks that finance aircraft leasing and purchase, aviation insurers, companies owning or leasing aircraft fleets, international law firms representing clients with interests in Canada, airport authorities and providers of aviation maintenance. We do not restrict ourselves to one small area of the industry, and as a result we bring our experience of working with "the other side" to our clients’ legal issues. We know the players throughout the industry; our contacts become your contacts. We move nimbly from one corporate culture to the next, from English to French, from common law to the civil code. Some of our lawyers have worked extensively in the aviation industry and understand the challenges our clients face today, while preparing them for what’s to come.
